Two examples of Rebel Nature

Here you see two examples of what nature is doing in the Rebel Nature universe. Nature is adapting to the changes we are causing. The plastic eating electric Brittlestar with 6 arms instead of 5 and the metal eating acidic barnacle and clams that grows at fast pace on the legs of RIG21. These 2 specimen are only a warning of what awaits further down in the ocean.

Drawing Res Waveborn of Rebel Nature

https://youtu.be/aSSUZeWRJ24

This is my first live drawing so I hope it is not too boring. I'm currently creating a lot of concept material for the new story /universe of Rebel Nature and this is the main character Res Waveborn between 12-14 years old when she is ready to go into action.
The music is a sketch theme tune composed and played by Mikkel Maltha.

Clever octopus friend

Soon you will meet Res Waveborn, who is one of the main character in the story "Rebel Nature" and in the app game "Escape RIG21". At a young age she meets the extremely intelligent octopus (naming it "Cue")
Some of the inspiration for that companionship you can see in this link.

Does this ROV belong to you?

http://deepseanews.com/2015/03/does-this-rov-belong-to-you/
This is the sort of news that inspires the story that I'm currently working on. Does this ROV belong to an unknown drilling company working in the south pacific and what are they building?

"Seeing faces" - The DR Ironman rebuild

I recently visited the DR City. The headquarters of the Danish national broadcasting corporation (DR) It is great when architecture is this bold and daring and gives associations.

Being a compulsive "face finder" I couldn't help reimagining one of the structures in the inner hall of the main building:)
Here is the transformation in 4 steps. The first picture is how it actually looks.

This is why I do Rebel Nature

On an amazing beach in Zanzibar where the tide shifts by 3m, this kind of seashell constantly appear from the Indian ocean. We humans are at the top of the food cain so one day we (or our children) will be eating our own trash. Talking about our daily convenience becoming the nightmare of the future. Water is the most precious substance on this planet and anyone with any kind of surplus regardless of religion or political orientation ought to start cleaning up. In the Rebel Nature story nature starts using these new materials and builds them into new lifeforms which has extreme and unpredictable consequences.

Strange sea shells
In the future coral may be no more than a color
Bad tide

The Turaga Files Teaser

Yesterday I went into the basement under Advance in Copenhagen to recover some of the old stuff and I made this little teaser video to test my new GoPro setup.
Among all kinds of strange stuff I found what I had hoped fore; Products, promos, visuals and the "Black Box" containing all the original sketches that were part of creating the legend. Stay tuned for the unboxing and sorry for the shaky hand/head held camera.
